A good weekend - most notable for the fact that I managed to get out on the bike for the first time this year. No staring at the garage wall on the turbo. Instead on Sunday did a 40 mile loop through the Notts and Lincs lanes. Good to be out - always feels different to being on the rack. The couple of hours certainly passed quicker as well.

 

The day before I managed a 1h40 run using the run/walk strategy on a 9 on to 1 off. Pace at this time of the year was an overall 8.20 min mile meaning 8 min mile on and 15 min mile walk. Still building up time and distance to the 2 hour mark. Supplementing this with a tempo run during week.

 

Struggling to hit the weekly hours with domestic pressures but happy at the quality :-)
